I am a senior at St. Philip Catholic Central. After high school I plan to attend Kellog Community College and pursure a career in nursing.
College Culture Match
My college choice is Kellogg Community College. I chose this college because it has a reputation for being a strong nursing college. In fact there is often a waiting list to get into this particular program. I also think this is a good choice due to cost of college as well as how much I can save financially by living at home while I attend my first two years of school. It doesn’t hurt that it has a strong baseball program either. If I am able I will do both but for now I know I need to focus on my schooling since I find my classes challenging at this time and extremely frustrating.
In order to prepare for a career in nursing I have focused on my English, math and science courses with my most challenging being math. I know my first year at KCC I will be focusing on getting my general education out of the way and completing my basics of math, science and English. Once I have those done I can then focus on my nursing courses and internship once I get accepted into the program. I will most likely spend three years at KCC and then transfer to a four year university to complete my bachelors.

Acheivements
Some achievements that I am proud of are a lot of my athletic achievements. I am proud of those because i think that they will help me in every day life. The leadership opportunities that I have had from sports have done a lot.
