The cost is more expensive once I enter the health field and I will pay 207.00 per credit hour. I most likely will have to work and this will make my freshman experience interesting as well as challenging. She is manager of a facility on North Ave. here in Battle Creek Job Opportunities / Income-The field of geriatrics nursing is a growing field because people are living longer. The average income is 56,000 a year. I can also work in stages and build portfolio with each step that I earn and am licensed for. This will also increase my income. Graduation / Retention Rate-54 % of students return the following school year Post Job Placement-Kellogg Community College assists with job placement through individual programs. I will do many different internships with the nursing program and this will open doors for me when looking for employment. Alumni-Alumni from Kellogg Community College have many established scholarships especially in the health fields.
My goals
Some skills that I would like to develop during my internship are communicating better and being more organized. A goal that I have is to be more organized. I need to do this because you have to be organized to be successful in life and to be able to work in a setting where you have to take care of people.
Target Placement
My target placement for internship is to find somwhere where I can see if the geriatrics field is the right one for me.
